UPDATE – NATIONAL LOCKDOWN EXIT – SWIMMING SESSIONS RESUME
Following the exit from national Lockdown, Shoals swimming sessions will resume from this Sunday, 6th December, and then our regular sessions will run until the Christmas/ New Year break. The sessions will resume under the new Covid Rules allowing gyms and pools to re-open. Moseley Road Baths have a full risk assessment which we will follow, please read the following notes or consult the Moseley Road Baths website
Sessions will follow rules set by Swim England and RLSS (Lifeguard Association) including…
- Increased hygiene
- Reduced bather load
- Social distancing
- NO overtaking or butterfly
We have space for around twenty swimmers which should work fine but if you arrive late be prepared to wait for someone to get out. Please follow any rules on sanitising and directions. Your lifeguards have been trained in the new rules to support your swim.
As a private club we can use showers & changing facilities. Please take a brief shower before & after your swim. Extra cleaning will take place and your lifeguard will be cleaning each cubicle after use.
Showers, toilets and cubicles are for single use. Please do not congregate in the building after your swim. The attendance register will be used for Track & Trace.
Birmingham is within Tier 3 so there will be no regular Shoals organised social events in bars or restaurants.
